Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items under the supervision of senior chefs.
Wash, peel, chop, and cut vegetables, meat, fish, and other ingredients.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and sanitized at all times.
Ensure all food is stored and labeled correctly according to food safety standards.
Follow recipes and instructions accurately to support food consistency and quality.
Receive and store deliveries properly, checking for freshness and quality.
Learn and apply kitchen safety procedures and proper use of equipment.
Assist with stock rotation, minimizing food waste.
Work across different sections of the kitchen to gain a wide range of skills.
