  • Flexibility with shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Physical stamina to stand for long hours and lift moderately heavy items.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items under the supervision of senior chefs.

  • Wash, peel, chop, and cut vegetables, meat, fish, and other ingredients.

  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and sanitized at all times.

  • Ensure all food is stored and labeled correctly according to food safety standards.

  • Follow recipes and instructions accurately to support food consistency and quality.

  • Receive and store deliveries properly, checking for freshness and quality.

  • Learn and apply kitchen safety procedures and proper use of equipment.

  • Assist with stock rotation, minimizing food waste.

  • Work across different sections of the kitchen to gain a wide range of skills.
