Requirements
Prior kitchen experience, ideally as a Commis Chef or similar.
Basic culinary training or equivalent experience.
Strong interest in learning and developing culinary skills.
Good knife skills and understanding of kitchen equipment.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a team.
Attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes in your section.
Support the Chef de Partie with daily kitchen operations.
Ensure all food produced is of high quality and meets the restaurant’s standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of your workstation.
Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Help with stock rotation, inventory checks, and proper storage of ingredients.
Communicate effectively with the team to ensure smooth service.
Learn and adapt recipes, plating, and presentation styles.
Contribute to the training and development of junior kitchen staff.
