Requirements
Previous experience in a customer service or front-of-house role (preferred).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Polished appearance and professional demeanor.
Ability to stay calm and courteous under pressure.
Basic computer skills; familiarity with reservation systems is a plus.
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus (especially for hotels/cruise lines).
Key Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
Manage the reservation system and walk-in traffic efficiently to minimize wait times.
Answer phone calls, take reservations, and provide information about the venue.
Coordinate with waitstaff and kitchen teams to ensure smooth guest flow and seating.
Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism, escalating issues when necessary.
Maintain a clean and organized reception/host station.
Keep track of guest preferences and VIP arrivals when applicable.
Assist in managing guest feedback and service recovery initiatives.
Promote special events, menus, or offers to guests.
