Requirements
Proven experience as a Pizzaiolo or Pizza Cook.
Strong knowledge of different dough types, fermentation times, and baking techniques.
Familiarity with various types of pizza (Neapolitan, Roman, New York-style, etc.).
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality.
Good understanding of food hygiene, safety, and kitchen cleanliness standards.
Team player with good communication skills.
Ability to multitask and stay organized during peak service hours.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare pizza dough from scratch and manage fermentation/proofing processes.
Stretch, top, and bake pizzas to order with precision and consistency.
Operate and maintain pizza ovens (wood-fired, gas, electric) safely and effectively.
Ensure proper portioning and presentation of pizzas according to brand or recipe standards.
Maintain a clean and organized pizza station, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
Monitor inventory and inform management of low stock on pizza ingredients.
Experiment with new pizza recipes and seasonal specials (if applicable).
Collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service.
Train and guide junior staff or assistants in pizza preparation techniques (if required).
